100-ton Crawler Crane: Kobelco CK1000
Core Specifications
The CK1000 series delivers a maximum lifting capacity of 100 US tons, with a main boom extending from 40 feet to 200 feet. Jib extensions add 30 to 60 feet of additional reach, with optional luffing jib configurations available. The crane is powered by a Mitsubishi 6D24-TEG engine.
Two primary models define the series: the CK1000-II and the CK1000-III. Both are fabricated from high-tensile steel and optimized using CAD technology for structural rigidity. The CK1000-III serves as an upgraded version of its predecessor, featuring an innovative full hydraulic system and a one-piece welded high-tensile steel carbody design.

Design and Construction
The CK1000 series emphasizes reliability, convenient maintenance, and ease of transport. The CK1000-III, in particular, incorporates a single-piece welded carbody made from high-tensile-strength steel, manufactured using advanced CAD technologies. This design approach ensures the crane can withstand the demands of heavy-duty lifting operations across various job site conditions.
All crane operations—including load hoist, boom hoist, swing, propel, crawler extension/extraction, and free-fall—are fully hydraulic. The series is also capable of installing and removing counterweight and crawler frames without requiring extensive auxiliary equipment.
