“These Kobelco BM700 track shoes have performed very well during the last eight months when used on two BM700 cranes on the bridge foundation project; they have been very resilient to wear caused by the abrasive sand on the riverbed. The quality of heat treatment of the grousers is excellent because they were not flattened or cracked near the bolt holes, unlike when using sub-standard parts. They are made of 35SiMn, as per specification, and after 1,200 hours of use, the pin holes remain round in shape. These track shoes were easy to install with no fitting problems, and the black oxide coating protects them from rusting. For their price range, these are OEM-quality track pads for BM700 cranes.”
